Margie has spent the last ten of her sixteen year career transforming OMD Melbourne into a force to be reckoned with. Having joined OMD in August 2006 as a Business Director, it was the success Margie was able to achieve across a wide and diverse client base, coupled with her ability to create change and demonstrate leadership, which led to her promotion to Head of Trading in Melbourne in late 2010. After successfully establishing a new specialist structure and playing a significant role in future proofing the OMD Melbourne operation, Margie was promoted to General Manager and National Executive Board member eight months later, and to Managing Director of OMD Melbourne in October 2014.

Margie steers a market leading team who are driven to deliver results for clients, and have fostered the strongest media relationships in market. As Managing Director OMD Melbourne, Margie maintains a focus on our people and culture, alongside maximising executional creativity and value extraction for our clients by driving strategic initiatives which integrate specialist divisions into the heart of the mix, while her clients enjoy sales growth.

Margie provides coaching, leadership and inspiration to people of all levels of experience within the media industry; she plays an active role in the MFA (Media Federation Australia); mentors for the MFA NGen and often contributes to MFA 5+ seminars. Margie also understands, and takes very seriously, the responsibility to give-back to society and the community, both as an individual and an organisation. Margie supports and facilitates our people’s efforts to sharing time, talent, resources and expertise for community projects. Margie volunteers her time as Chair of the Salvation Army Media & Marketing Advisory committee & Board Member of the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal.
